A new, better and faster version of the Findity app is on its way. Learn some of the new and great features which will be included in the new app version. We will start releasing to users from September 17th. 


What’s new?

Overall the new app aims to significantly improve the experience of the User thanks to a new look and faster performance. But that’s not it, a bunch of new features are also here to improve the speed of sending expenses. Let’s dive into the newness of the app for the upcoming release!
 

 

  1. Introducing Single Expense

This is a major update in the way expenses are sent. From now on, it is possible to only send an expense without attaching it to a report. Note that it is still possible to send expenses in reports the same way it was done previously.

After a picture of the receipt is taken, the different expense fields will populate the data, you only need to double check if all information is correct. 

To send the expense, you will now have 2 choices:

  1. Click “SAVE” and you will save your expense in a report as before, which you will have to send later in the report view.
  2. Click “SUBMIT” and you will send your expense directly for approvals.

 

 

Following the submission of your expense, the approvers will receive a push notification to approve your single expense or expense reports.

The time to repay your expense is then handled by your organisation as it is their responsibility.

 

 

This functionality can be turned on/off by the organisation administrator under: 

  • Settings > Expense Management > Reports workflow > Use single expense

 

  1. New Settings Menu

You can find the Settings Menu on the top right of the screen. There you will be able to manage your personal information, notification centre or cards. Note that not all settings are available as of today in the mobile app. Please login the desktop app to get access to the full Settings view.

     3. Brand new approval flow 

We have introduced a brand new approval flow in the apps to enable approvers to review the most crucial information in app UI without the need to review the generated PDF report. Approvers will now be able to review separate expenses or expense reports and toggle expenses to approve and reject with a few clicks. 

We now offer a simple division and overview of what expenses  to take action on and approve in “To-do” and what is approved in “Approved”.

Your opinion is important to us and helps our team build a better product. In order to make it as easy as possible for you, we have enabled a feedback channel directly in the app. To use it, shake your phone a few times, a window will open where you can write to us.
