We are excited to announce our new integration with Twinfield. This powerful connection is specifically designed to optimize expense management for organizations operating in the Netherlands.

By bridging the gap between Findity and Twinfield, you can say goodbye to manual data entry and hello to seamless accounting.

Manual transfer of expense reports is time-consuming and prone to human error. This integration automates the entire process, ensuring that your financial data moves smoothly and accurately between systems.


Key Benefits:

  • Reduced Manual Work: Expense reports are automatically posted directly into Twinfield as journal entries.
  • Eliminate Data Errors: Automation removes the risk of typos, incorrect account codes, or misplaced decimals.
  • Granular Financial Tracking: Every expense is mapped precisely with its corresponding cost centers, projects, supplier references, and tax codes.

How It Works: The Data Flow

The integration ensures that our platform and Twinfield are always aligned by managing data in two directions:

1. Inbound (From Twinfield to us)

To keep your expense reporting accurate, we automatically pull the following master data from your Twinfield environment:

  • Chart of Accounts: Including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Creditor accounts.
  • Journal Codes: Available journals for correct posting.
  • Cost Centers: Mapped directly from Twinfield dimension type KPL.
  • Projects: Mapped directly from Twinfield dimension type PRJ.
  • Suppliers: Vendor and creditor master data to match expenses to the right supplier.

2. Outbound (From us to Twinfield)

Once an expense report is approved in our platform, the system automatically generates and exports a Twinfield-compliant journal entry, including all the specific accounts and dimensions mentioned above.


How to Get Started (Admin Setup)

Setting up the integration is quick and straightforward. As an administrator, follow these basic steps:

  • Navigate to Integrations: Log into the system as an administrator, go to the Integrations section, and select Twinfield.
  • Authorize the Connection: Enter your Twinfield account credentials to authorize our platform to connect.
  • Initial Sync: Once authorized, We will run an initial sync to fetch your GL accounts, journal codes, cost centers, projects, and suppliers from Twinfield.

💡 Please Note: This integration is established through Maesn rather than a direct Findity-to-Twinfield connection.
