# Custom amounts for Per Diem in Norway

If you have a Norwegian organisation and are using **Per diem**, you have 3 options to configure your per diem category. You can use the amounts for **Tax-free**, **State recommendation** or **Taxable**.

Findity is setting the Tax-free amounts on system level, the same goes with the amounts for State recommendations. They can not be changed by the Admins. But if Admins want to set their own amounts for the organisation they can use the setting Taxable. The new functionality can be used for domestic travel.

How to activate?

* Go to your Norwegian organisation and log in as an Administrator.

* Go to Organisation / Settings / Expense management / Expense categories and Per diem.

* Add a category for Domestic travel and Remuneration type “Taxable”.

* Click on Advanced setting and add an Individual extra per diem for Norway.

* Click on Set custom amounts.

* Add your amounts and Save.
