# Refreshed End-User UI

> A new end-user interface for expenses and approvals with clearer views, status filters, and improved receipt upload.

<Note>
  **This applies to the following countries**

  * All countries
</Note>

To deliver a cleaner, more intuitive user experience, the end-user interface has been redesigned across both the submission and approval views. The update removes visual clutter, reduces navigation friction, and brings the platform in line with modern UI standards, so day-to-day expense management is simpler for both employees and approvers.

## Before you start

* Works in both the **mobile app** and the **web interface**.
* Some changes (such as drag-and-drop upload) apply to the web interface.

## How it works

The new interface has five main components:

* **Top toggle bar** — Switch seamlessly between **Expenses** and **Approval** views using the top header toggles.
* **Purchases vs. Expenses tabs** — Clearer separation between transactions and expense claims.
* **Status filters** — Filter tasks and items with the **To-do**, **Submitted**, and **Done** tabs.
* **Updated expense listing overview** — Groups rejected expenses, reports, and individual expenses, with visible labels and tags.
* **Redesigned receipt upload target** — A refreshed drag-and-drop receipt upload area in the right-hand panel of the web UI.
