# Where can I find the verification number for the receipt?

As soon as you create your expense, you can see your reference number under the row labeled **Verification number**.

This number is your reference number, which you should write on the receipt before taking a photo of it.

Please note that in order to have this field in your expense, your organisation must have activated the verification number feature in the service.
