# Where can I find the report number?

Each organization can choose to set up report numbering either per organization or per employee. This means that as a user, you will receive a unique number for each report. To view the number assigned to a report, click on the report and preview it.

For an unsubmitted report, you can find the report number under the **To-do** tab by opening the report, clicking the three dots in the top right corner, and then selecting **Preview PDF report**. The report number will be shown in the top right corner of the preview.

For a report that has already been submitted, you can find the report number under the **Submitted** or **Done** tab by opening the report, clicking on the **Details** tab, and then selecting **Show** to the right of the PDF report.
