# How do I register a receipt in another currency?

A receipt in another currency is registered just like any other expense.
After you have created a new expense in the app, you need to add the amount, VAT and currency. If the rate does not match your purchase, click on that line to adjust it to the value you want to add.
Findity collect the currencies from a website called Openexchangerates and collect the currency for the day the purchase is made.

In the example below, we have added 55 EURO. We choose to **Save** the expense.
In **Drafts** under the **Expenses** tab, the expense is now saved, and in that view, you can also see the amount in SEK.
